Taking responsibility in the family business of manufacturing and selling electrical appliances, I was popular in my social circle, but only three friends were and are still closest to my heart. What my fans would like to know about my background?

It is god’s grace that I have been able to enter the Punjabi film industry. In fact, I had nothing to do with the film industry and very little exposure to the villages of Punjab where my first two films are based. However, now that at least some people have started knowing me as Kirandeep Rayat Punjabi actor , I want to share more about my life with them. Basically I am an outgoing person and believe to live every moment to the fullest. My entire day is packed with activities to improve my health and well-being apart from fulfilling my duties towards my parents and siblings. With two sisters elder to me I was the youngest of the three kids and hence got pampered a lot. However, my parents made every attempt to keep me within the discipline that a kid should follow. As a result I grew up pampered and loved, but with a sense of responsibility not just towards my family but also the society at large. My first day of shooting for my film ‘Jindra’

The story behind my role in Jindra is also quite interesting. As I mentioned earlier my director’s son introduced me to the Punjabi film industry. I was chosen by my director for another film meant for the big screen and I had to play a side role in that film. It was then that COVID struck and the movie halls were closed. So my first film got shelved before we even started discussing the shooting. Then the director thought of making a film solely for the OTT audience and that is how Jindra was created. In this film I was supposed to play the male lead role and I would be introduced to the Punjabi film audience as Kirandeep Rayat Punjabi actor. Although I had created many tiktok videos, I had never seen or done a proper film shoot earlier. So when I went to the shooting spot on the day of my first shoot, I was quite intrigued by the ambience there.
